Yes I lift weights, do you?

I’m bringing this up because I deal with haters everyday!

I have been lifting for 3 years now and since I started this journey, I have met a lot of “haters” I call “haters” people who cannot stand that I have self-discipline with my training and my diet! People who ask me why I train “so much” and can’t understand why I have so much fun doing it! Or it can be people who get irritated that I eat so much chicken!

But the question is why am I so focused at the gym?

The key to maintaining self-discipline is setting short- and long-term goals. Every week I try to get my motivation on top by checking all those fitness pics on Facebook and I actually have a Facebook page about my journey into doing my first Bikini Fitness contest in November. I really want this and I am so excited about it and most of all, I am doing this for MYSELF!

 Why do haters hate?

  • Because you have something that they don’t.
  • Because they have nothing better to do in life.
  • Because their life just isn’t as great and exciting as yours.
  • Because they are unhappy with some things in their own life.
  • Because they need to put someone down to feel good about themselves.
  • Because they are, in general, just losers.
How to deal with haters!

Remember that it doesn’t matter what you do, someone will judge you for it!

Don’t be discouraged! I always think to myself that it’s a test I have to pass to continue this journey. I know it can be hard sometimes but the best is to ignore them! Let the haters hate and focus on your goals and make the choices that are right for you. Keep reminders of your success around you! It doesn’t matter what you do, at the end of the day people will criticize you either way.

I try to be a good example for my daughter and if I can motivate and inspire others, for me it’s the most important!

I can conclude by saying that I keep working out because I believe that my hard work will pay off soon!
